I Dont Know Why You Bother - CYMBALS (3) - Unlearn (Vinyl, LP, Album)

I don't know why nobody refers to cymbals as "wet", other than it sounds weird I guess. But generally if a cymbal isn't marketed as being some degree of dry, you can safely assume that it is pretty washy. Honestly though, don't get too caught up in marketing descriptors. Trust your ears, not the brochure. 7. .

 · A good example is the re-issue of Led Zeppelin's "Presence" album by Classic Records on gram vinyl, which has some of the loudest cymbals I have heard in a rock recording. On that LP the cymbals sound clear and undistorted on my system. I use a high tracking force to improve the tracking and thereby to reduce inner groove distortion.

Newly remastered by Bernie Grundman, from the original analog master tapes! Includes both mono and stereo mixes — Pure DSD sound! *cd layer contains stereo mix only. Rolling Stone Greatest Albums of All Time — rated 30/! " Are You Experienced appeared in the U.K. in May of , one week before Sgt. Pepper hit the charts.

 · This new turntable from Audio-Technica is of the same breed, also built in China and just qualifies for sub-budget status by a single pound. The turntable arrives with an AT91R cartridge (set at a 2g.

 · But if you were to play a CD, let's say, from 20 years ago and compare that to a CD that just came out recently, I don't think many of the listeners would be, you know.

     · Cymbals with any protective coating is another matter but I have never had any and can't help on that. It also depends upon whether you want to retain logos as often they are very easily removed along the way. Myself, I don't bother cleaning cymbals since most of mine are "raw" anyway and I don't bother with cymbal aesthetics that much.

  2.  · Permalink. I'm sorry, but I just don't get this vinyl rebirth. Vinyl was a pain to use, maintain and store. Maybe it's because I'm 50 now and can't hear the difference, or maybe it's that I don't Reviews:
